eJournal Club submission winner announced

Congratulations Dr Jayleigh Lim

Congratulations to Dr Jayleigh Lim who submitted the winning review for the November/December 2022 round of the eJournal Club. Dr Lim’s submission was a review on a journal article about the management of type 2 diabetes in adults. You can read Dr Lim’s winning submission here. (PDF, 134KB)

Dr Jayleigh Lim is currently in her first year of Basic Specialist Training in General Internal Medicine and hopes to go on to Higher Specialist Training in Respiratory Medicine.

Following her eJournal Club win, Dr Lim is now in the running for the prestigious Kate McGarry Prize which includes an award medal and a €1,000 educational grant.

About the eJournal Club

Launched in October 2019, the eJournal Club is a unique opportunity to share your reviews of practice-changing articles with over 1,000 doctors. An initiative of the RCPI Trainees' Committee, the eJournal Club is open to doctors in Internal Medicine who are registered on a Basic Specialist Training (BST) programme, Higher Specialist Training (HST) programme, International Residency Training Programme (IRTP) or the International Clinical Fellowship Programme (ICFP) with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
